A new type of COVID-19 booster has been approved and is available in Montana. It was engineered to target two strains of COVID-19: the SARS-CoV-2 and the omicron variant, which are causing most current cases. Anyone 12 or older who received a primary series of COVID-19 vaccines is eligible for the new COVID-19 booster. Both the primary vaccine and the new COVID-19 boosters are available at many clinics, pharmacies, and county/tribal health departments throughout Big Sky Country.
