National Hispanic Heritage Month 2023

Multi Colored Text: National Hispanic Heritage Month September 15 to October 15

From September 15 to October 15, 2023, LIFTT joins the nation in celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month! The Hispanic community includes people who came to the US from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. Hispanic Americans are the fastest-growing racial and ethnic minority in the US and Montana. Hispanic Americans are over 63 million in the US and 50,000 in Montana.

LIFTT is proud to be an organization committed to diversity, inclusion, equity, and accessibility, and that includes our Hispanic neighbors. We acknowledge the importance of their contribution and their remarkable work ethics. Latino/Latina consumers will always be welcome at LIFTT. If being Latino/Latina is one of your identities, you have a disability, and you live in our service area, please allow us to serve you. At LIFTT, you will not experience racial, ethnic, or anti-immigrant prejudice. We will remove any language barriers by providing you with a translator and literature in Spanish. At LIFTT, there are no legal or illegal persons or any other form of discrimination. All are welcome to receive independent living services from our specialists.

LIFTT dará la bienvenida a todos los latinos y latinas que busquen los servicios gratuitos de vida independiente que brindamos. ¡Ven a vernos!
