Native American Resources

LIFTT serves everyone in Montana, and this includes people of all ages on the Crow and Northern Cheyenne Reservations. Montana is the home to approximately 78,000 people of American Indian heritage, or about 6.5 percent of the state’s total population. Located primarily on the Big Horn and Rosebud counties, the two reservations have a land mass of over 2,640,000 acres. Between the two tribes, there are 25,000 enrolled members, living both on and off the reservations. LIFTT continues to develop relationships with the Native American population and coordinates services with providers on the Reservation.

LIFTT is committed to providing programs and services to empower persons with disabilities to break down the barriers that prevent them from being fully independent participants in their lives and communities.
