LWM: Building an ADA Accessible Website & App

On this edition of Living Well in Montana, LIFTT Executive Director Carlos Ramalho and Communications & Government Affairs Coordinator Jed Barton talk with Dave Worstell CEO of the Billings Gazette/Lee Enterprises Montana, and Erica Yakawich Regional Sales Manager for Lee Enterprises about the ongoing collaborative effort to move LIFTT’s digital presence forward while answering the challenge of access for all.

LIFTT spent the past almost two years working with Lee and its digital arm Amplified Digital on designing a new state-of-the-art ADA-accessible website and launching what is believed to be the first-ever ADA-accessible mobile app for a Center for Independent Living in the United States.

“Living Well in Montana” is produced by LIFTT and Billings Community 7 TV. In addition to being aired several times each week on C7 (available to Charter Spectrum Cable customers in Billings and Yellowstone County), It is also available online through the Community 7 VOD Player and LIFTT’s YouTube Channel.
