Tabatha Smith: #TeamMemberTuesdays

LIFTT PCA Program Facilitator Tabatha Smith,. A white woman with brown hair wearing a white sweater

LIFTT CFC/SDPAS PCA Program Facilitator Tabatha Smith continues a family tradition of working in the healthcare and human service field.

My name is Tabatha Smith, and I was welcomed to the LIFTT team as a Personal Care Assistant Facilitator in November of 2022. I have a background of being a CNA. for about nine years in different long-term care facilities and in-home caregiving that helped cover Yellowstone County, Carbon County, and Stillwater County. I got my CNA. (Certified Nurses Aid) license in Red Lodge, MT, in the summer of 2011 while obtaining my GED. Shortly after having my first child.

My interest started young as I had multiple family members with medical backgrounds and careers, from RNs to CNAs. When my grandfather required Hospice, my grandmother chose in-home due to his preferences. That’s when I witnessed what hands-on caregiving was. Watching those people who would come to our home made me see what a significant impact they had made on the ones who needed care. They truly made a difference in the daily lives of the ones they cared for and their loved ones. I knew I wanted to help people from that moment forward.

I am now a mother to 4 amazing daughters who keep me busy outside of work. I have many hobbies and interests, including cooking, making things out of epoxy, auto body repair, rock hunting, and spending time with my kids and friends. I am proud to be a LIFTT Team member and look forward to learning all I can and helping the people I can.

If you so or someone you know might be a candidate for PCA services with LIFTT or if you have more questions about the program please feel free to reach out to me at (406) 294-5191 or tabathas@liftt.org
